Workplace safety leaders stay on top by proactively preventing—rather than reactively responding to—workplace injuries. In addition to protecting employees and boosting morale, this is also a smart business move. Effective injury prevention lowers the modification rate, directly reduces workers' compensation costs (and number of claims), and reduces the likelihood of a Cal/OSH visit and the potential for citations.
All great in theory, of course, but how do these leading employers actually go about preventing injuries before they happen? And how can you become one of them?
Listen to an informative 90-minute audio conference all about preventing injuries in the workplace. Find out what the world-class safety employers are doing to gain that edge, and learn tips on how to create a smart injury prevention program with your IIPP at your workplace. You'll learn:
- How to identify the true cost of injuries in your workplace
- What happens when you "do nothing" — and why this is a terrible idea
- How to benchmark yourself against comparable workplaces
- How to assess the current state of your company's safety culture
- Ways to gain commitment at all levels—from senior management to employees
- Why employee participation is crucially important to a successful prevention program
- Tips you can use to enhance your safety culture and process right away
