When thinking about Cal/OSHA recordkeeping requirements, it's easy to default to the annual accident and injury logs. But your recordkeeping requirements don't end there.
What about training records? Exposure records? Testing records? Do you know what data you need to record? Do you know how long you need to retain each document?
Join us on March 21 for a fast-paced 90-minute webinar specifically for California businesses, when we'll provide practical, real-world answers to your Cal/OSHA recordkeeping questions.
Our expert speaker—a California-based safety consultant—will give you sound, effective tips for creating a recordkeeping and retention trail that will get you through the Cal/OSHA maze and help you reap the benefits of a safer workplace and safer workforce.
You and your colleagues will learn:
- The records you must keep for state and federal statutory compliance
- Additional records recommended for best practices
- The new emphasis on recordkeeping enforcement—and what the government is looking for
- Risks and exposures you face by not having complete and accurate records
- What records must be produced for a Cal/OSHA inspection—and what can and should be shielded
- What specific injuries and illnesses must be reported directly to Cal/OSHA, and the timelines for reporting
- How your records help you improve safe practices and employee performance
- Practical suggestions on how to maintain records that will pass inspection—without spending a ton of time on it
About your Speaker:

He serves as Risk and Safety Consultant to the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers, Group Safety Manager for the 3,500 members of the Attorneys and Accountants Association safety group sponsored by the American Association of Attorney/Certified Public Accountants and also legal advisor to the California Association of Agricultural Labor, an association of California farm labor contractors.

How Do Webinars Work?
A webinar is remarkably cost-effective and convenient. You participate from your office, using a regular telephone and a computer with an Internet connection. You have no travel costs and no out-of-office time.
Plus, for one low price, you can get as many people in your office to participate as you can fit around a speakerphone and a computer screen.
Because the conference is live, you can ask the speakers questions—either on the phone or via the webinar interface.
You will receive access instructions via e-mail several days before the event. You don't need any additional materials before the webinar starts. Your conference materials will be available for you to view, print, and download when you log in to participate in the event.
